Based on Dr. Roosevelt Thomas’ book of the same name, this 60-minute course introduces a broader meaning of what diversity and inclusion means in today’s workforce, workplace, and marketplace. It explores how all of the diverse talent within an organization can create a rich mixture that sparks innovation and productivity.

The Giraffe and Elephant: Increasing Diversity & Inclusion Awareness

This 20-minute introductory course provides fundamental concepts of Diversity & Inclusion management by using a fable of a giraffe and an elephant. This course helps reveal how our “unconscious” approach to dealing with differences in others can unintentionally get in the way of productive interactions and outcomes.

My Diversity Manager™ – A Decision Making Framework

This online tool is used to apply the key concepts that are introduced in all of our Diversity & Inclusion courses. My Diversity Manager™ (MDM) is a step-by-step decision-making framework that can be used to organize your thoughts and lead you to productive conclusions and actions as you work through any diversity-based challenge or conflict.

The MDM is not a course; it is an online application, or Performance Support tool, ready to be deployed within your organization’s network. Integrated in the tool is a Virtual Coach that answers your questions during each step of the process. You can also access Frequently Asked Questions, Sample MDM's and experience a video-based guided tour that takes you through the tool to increase understanding and effective utilization.
